Do I need a laptop to start the courses?

No. If you have opted for the Music Production Certificate or the Diploma in Music Production & Audio Engineering, you can begin your studies without a Laptop. To complete your assignments and practice, you can visit the school and use the class workstations by booking slots for yourself. You will however need a Laptop of your own when you reach the ‘Advance Mix and Master Module’ in your Diploma. The other equipment required will be provided to you by the school when you begin your Course.

Do I need any prior knowledge or prerequisites to pursue the Music Production Course or the Diploma in Audio Engineering and Music Production?

The Music Production Certificate and Diploma in Music Production and Audio Engineering is designed for complete beginners. You only need a passion for Music. Knowledge and skill of playing a musical instrument will be great advantage but is not necessary. 

How do I know if I am eligible for the Advanced Mix and Master or Dolby Atmos certificate? 

If you are opting for an Advance Level Certificate course, you are required to have at least 3 years of recording/studio experience and will be required to clear an entrance aptitude test to determine your skill and prerequisite for an Advance Level course.

What if there are no more seats available in the next intake?

We request you to kindly submit the registration fee as soon as possible to confirm your seat as they are confirmed on a first come first serve basis. In the event all available seat have been filled up, you will be placed on a waitlist. Alternatively you can apply for the next intake to ensure your spot.

What if I submitted the registration fee for a course with no seats available?

We request you to kindly submit the registration fee as soon as possible to confirm your seat as they are confirmed on a first come first serve basis. If registration fee is submitted for a batch that no longer has available seats, you will be placed on a waitlist or offered a seat in the next closest possible batch. Only in the event of an unsuccessful waitlist, your registration fee will be refunded if you do not wish to enroll for the next batch.

What happens If I submitted my registration fee but am unable to pay or am late in submitting the Tuition fee?

In the event that you are not able to pay the tuition fee promptly, your seat will be offered to another on the waitlist. You will be allowed to carry forward your registration to the next available batch once only, upon the successful submission of your tuition fee before the next due date. Registration Fee will not be refunded due to late submission of Tuition Fee.

When will I receive my Ableton Live 11 Suite License and recording bundles?

After you have successfully submitted the tuition fee, you will receive you Ableton Live 11 Suite License and Recording bundles on the first day of you course commencement. The recording bundle may be delayed depending on the availability in the market.

Can I opt out of the Ableton license and recording bundle to reduce the tuition fee?

No. Since we are an Ableton Supported school and have tied up with brands to be able to offer you equipment free of cost with your fee, we are obligated and cannot offer our courses without them.

Can I get a refund on my registration fee?

No, registration fee cannot be refunded. However, if registration fee is submitted for a batch that no longer has available seats, you will be placed on a waitlist or offered a seat in the next closest possible batch. Only in the event of an unsuccessful waitlist, your registration fee will be refunded if you do not wish to enroll for the next batch.

Will I have to return the equipment I received with my course?

The Ableton Live 11 Suite License and Recording bundles you receive are yours to keep forever, even after the course is complete.

How can I apply for internship after the course completion?

In the final week of your course, you may apply for Internship at Ferris Wheel Studios by filling the Internship Application Form available at the School.
